Interior Designers

Andrea Jakubczak

Sr. Interior Designer | Managing Member

Andrea is the primary Interior Designer of Eco Fusion Design.  She brings to Eco Fusion Design a vision for environmentally conscious design and the passion and determination to make it affordable and accessible.  As a young child Andrea was strongly influenced by the work of her Grandfather, Edwin Duszynski, who was the Director of Public Works for the city of Madison.  His forward thinking regarding reducing waste through recycling resulted in the inception of the newspaper recycling program in Madison.  This mentality was emphasized throughout her childhood and has been a driving factor in founding Eco Fusion Design. Originally graduating with a degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Andrea worked for several years in the accounting field and obtained her CPA certification.  After deciding she should pursue her true passion, she returned again to the UW for a degree in Interior Design. Andrea spent several years working in high-end furniture sales with Thomasville Home Furnishings which resulted in a love of quality furnishings and an appreciation for beautiful fabrics and home accessories.  Subsequently, Andrea worked as the lead interior designer for Gorman & Company’s condominium division.  She assisted over 100 condominium buyers make interior finish selections at Crosswinds at Hawks Landing and Southern Hill and designed numerous models and showcase units for the Parade of Condominiums.  Redesigning interiors, coordinating interior finishes (including flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, etc.) and walking each client through each phase of the construction process (from electrical walk-through to final inspection) is her specialty.  Her accounting background is particularly helpful in keeping clients on budget while still designing their dream space.  Each experience has emphasized the importance of providing excellent customer service and providing quality sustainably manufactured products from environmentally conscious companies.
